I recently tried the Acne Intelligence app to get a custom skin care routine. I’ve shared many times before that your skin is forever changing. It can be hard to consistently maintain the perfect skin we all want due to the many factors impacting your skin. When Acne Intelligence reached out to me about their technology, I knew I wanted to try it.
You all know I’ve struggled with acne in the past. Growing up I had cystic acne and to this day I still have rough texture at times. Below I’m sharing my experience using the app for the first time. I have not yet begun my custom routine but I am so excited for Acne Intelligence to send my products! I could not believe how simple the app was to use, which you can see in my quick screen recording of the real-time skincare analysis below.
How to use the Acne Intelligence app
- Download the app for free on the Apple app store or Google play.
- Take a bare face selfie in the app.
- Wait for the app to anlayze your skin.
- Review the results and your custom skincare routine.
- Purchase the products.
Key features I’m excited to use
Weekly consultations on the go
There are a few things I’m excited to continue using in the Acne Intelligence app. The first being the weekly skincare consultations. You can create an analysis in the app anytime you want to see how your skin has changed. Overtime, the recommendations will improved based on the results.
A weekly analysis on this app is beneficial for 2 reasons. First, your results live in one location and reviewing the history is simple. Second, a mobile analysis lets you fit the follow up consultations into your schedule SO easily. Y’all know I travel quite a bit for work. The ability to do at home consultations when I’m on the road is something I’m looking forward to using more!
Artificial Intelligence
I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz word artificial intelligence over the past few years, but what does that actually mean? To put it simply, artificial intelligence uses lots and lots of data to create predictions and make decisions.
In the case of this app, that means the technology is collecting data points, storing them, and constantly reviewing / using historical data to make smarter predictions and decisions. In short, the more data the app receives, the better the results. The app is constantly learning and improving.
Overall, the app was extremely simple to use and seemed to provide accurate results. I’m looking forward to testing the products from Acne Intelligence and continuing to use the technology! As always, let me know if you have any questions. I know you all love skincare just as much as I do, which made me want to share this new technology with you.
XOXO,
MegMat
