Throughout the month of March, I will be doing a step challenge. Focusing on your health is so important for your overall well-being. To participate in the challenge you must:
- Use a step tracker to count your steps. If you do not own one, some of my suggested trackers are linked below.
- Follow my Instagram page @megmatable and like my page on Facebook (if you have both platforms).
- Submit your total steps on March 31st and the winner will need to submit a screenshot of their monthly total.
The person with the most steps at the end of March will receive a prize. The more people that enter and participate, the bigger the prize so make sure you share this challenge with friends and family to motivate each other! If you do not own a tracker, I have some recommendations below. You can also use a health app on your smartphone, but that isn’t always quite as accurate as a tracker on your wrist.
Recommended Step Trackers

Fitbit Alta
I personally have the Fitbit Alta and I really like it. It tracks more than just your steps, it will track your sleep, exercise, and more. You can also add friends and do weekly challenges which helps keep you motivated.
Letsfit Fitness Tracker
Amazon has a step tracker that looks similar to the Fitbit Alta but is a bit more affordable. It works similar to the Fitbit Alta and tracks more than just steps. It comes in multiple colors too!
Apple Watch
An Apple watch might be more of a splurge, but it probably has the most capabilities. The Apple watch is basically an extension of your cell phone, but also serves as a fitness tracker. It will count your steps, track your exercise, and more.
