If you’re anything like me, it is hard to get your greens in. I eat fairly healthy, but I don’t always focus on getting every fruit and vegetable in. Especially the ones I don’t like as much (a.k.a. plain spinach). My go-to was always to order a green smoothie when I’m out and about or add these things to an omelette. However, those two things didn’t happen very often.
Although I really enjoy green smoothies, I never tried to make one on my own because honestly, it was kind of intimidating. In my mind, it would just turn out gross and I’d end up wasting time and money on my attempt. Yesterday, I faced my fear and decided to go for it. After all, I loved the smoothies I’d get when I was out and it’d be much better to make them at home. I’d incorporate greens more often and save money!
Despite my fears, my green smoothie was actually DELICIOUS. It was refreshing, easy to make, and was not overpowered with a vegetable taste. I know incorporating this smoothie more regularly will provide me with nutrients and all the benefits gained from eating my leafy greens. I’m sharing the recipe with y’all today as a weekly wellness tip so you too can incorporate more greens in your life! I promise, this recipe won’t disappoint!!
