Merry Christmas Eve to all of you!! Today I’m sharing 3 last minute holiday outfits you can throw together with items you own. If you’re still struggling to pick out an outfit for today or tomorrow, I’m here to help you!
Although you likely won’t have the same pieces I have, I will be sharing how each look can be modified with items you may have. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Fancy Pants
Look number 1 is a simple look with some fancy pants. If you don’t have printed pants like I do, you can swap them out for solid pants and a printed top. Throw on a pair of heels and a red lip (which you’ll see in all the looks) and bam! You look dressed up, put together, and festive. This holiday outfit is perfect for a dressier party.
Casual Sweater
Look number 2 is for your more casual holiday party. It is quite simply a sweater and jeans, but you can spice it up with a festive lip. I have this color block sweater that is paired perfectly with a red lip. You can simply swap these pieces for a sweater and denim you own, but be sure to throw on festive makeup to complete this holiday outfit.
Dress and Accessories
The last outfit is for those warmer places this time of year, or the Chicagoland folks for some reason! Spice up a plain dress with over the knee boots and an accessory, like this faux fur vest. If you do not own a faux fur vest, you can use a scarf, jewelry, or any other accessory to spice up a simple dress. Last but not least, complete this holiday look with yet another festive lip.
If you made it this far and have not noticed the trend for these holiday outfits, I will spell it out for you. Add a festive lip to any look! This is quite simply the easiest way to make an outfit more festive. Whether you will be dressing fancy, casual, or warm, you can make any outfit you own holiday ready with some makeup.
I’ll share on my Instagram stories how I achieve the perfect red lip that lasts all night! Follow me there if you’re interested and to see each of these holiday outfits in action. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season being comfortably you!
XOXO,
MegMat
